How to Install the Herman Miller Aeron PostureFit for Size B (Estimated Time: 10–20 minutes)

Tools needed: Phillips screwdriver or small flathead screwdriver, plus an optional pointed tool to help guide the cable
No tools? Alternative: A basic screwdriver is required for this installation. No safe alternative is recommended.

Step 1: Attach the adjustment knob and rear clip assembly to the back frame of the chair.
Step 2: Secure it using the small screw included in the kit.
Step 3: Route the cable underneath the seat frame toward the backrest, keeping it straight and untangled.
Step 4: Carefully make a small opening in the lower back mesh, just enough for the cable to pass through.
Step 5: Pull the cable through the mesh opening to the front side of the backrest.
Step 6: Connect the cable to the PostureFit support bracket.
Step 7: Use the long screw included in the kit to secure the bracket firmly in place.
Step 8: Position the PostureFit pad so it sits centered on the lower back area of the chair.
Step 9: Turn the adjustment knob to extend the cable fully.
Step 10: Locate the opening underneath the seat, insert the cable end, and pull upward until it locks into place.
Step 11: Sit in the chair and adjust the knob until the back support feels comfortable.
