Chairs ship free anywhere in the continental U.S. Hawaii ships for a flat $150 fee, and we can’t ship to Alaska yet.
In-stock orders ship within 5–7 business days via UPS Ground. This processing time does not include UPS transit time, which varies by location. Backordered items ship when stock arrives; the expected wait is shown above the Add to Cart button.
For local pick-up, we are available by appointment only and do not offer same-day pick-up. Scheduling an appointment allows us to confirm availability of your preferred chair and options, and ensures your chair is fully prepared before your arrival.

Every Nulife Chair comes with two layers of protection: a 30-day full warranty and a lifetime warranty for mechanical issues.
30-Day Full Warranty
For the first 30 days after delivery, your chair is covered for any issue, including mechanical parts, mesh, frame, or cosmetic concerns. If something isn’t right, we’ll repair, replace, or refund your chair to make sure you’re completely satisfied.
Changed your mind? You can still return your chair within 30 days of delivery. If the return isn’t due to a problem with the chair, a 20% restocking fee and the return shipping cost may be deducted from your refund.
Lifetime Warranty (Mechanical Issues)
After the first 30 days, your chair remains protected under our Lifetime Warranty, which covers all mechanical components, including:
- Tilt and recline mechanisms
- Gas lift cylinder
- Arm adjustments
If a covered part fails under normal use, we’ll repair or replace it free of charge, with free shipping for replacement parts anywhere in the U.S.
For customers within our serviceable area near Los Angeles, including Palmdale, Pasadena, Burbank, Glendale, Santa Monica, Culver City, and West LA, we may also offer on-site repair assistance.
Outside these areas, you can complete most repairs with simple self-installation, and we’ll guide you through every step with clear instructions and support.
Warranty Conditions
- Applies to normal use (up to 40 hours per week, within Herman Miller’s rated weight capacity for your chair: up to 300 lbs for the Classic Aeron).
- Valid for the original purchaser only (non-transferable).
- Proof of purchase may be required.
What’s Not Covered
- Normal wear and tear (scratches, scuffs, fading).
- Improper assembly, misuse, or modifications.
- Negligence or customer-supplied parts.
- Mesh stretching or sagging, or frame issues, after the first 30 days.
- Cosmetic or aesthetic damage after delivery.
Note: The warranty does not cover damage caused by shipping carriers, movers, or repair technicians not arranged by Nulife Chairs. If you booked your own carrier or mover, please contact them directly for delivery-related claims.
How to File a Claim
To file a claim, email support@nulifechairs.com with your:
- Order number
- Photos or short video showing the issue
- Brief description of the problem
We’ll review your claim quickly and send the appropriate replacement or repair solution at no cost.
Important Notes
- The lifetime warranty applies only to mechanical issues.
- If a part is discontinued, we’ll provide an equivalent new or reconditioned part.

How to Use
Set up your Aeron in this order. It takes about five minutes, and getting it right is what makes the chair comfortable all day.
- Put it together. Your chair arrives in two pieces in one box. The seat is already installed on the cylinder and base, so you only need to attach the backrest with the four screws included. It takes about 2–3 minutes.
- Set the seat height. The height lever is on the right-hand side of the seat. Lift it while standing to raise the seat, or while seated to lower it, until your feet rest flat on the floor.
- Lock or unlock the recline. To lock the chair upright, sit upright and lift the rear tilt lever up. Push the lever back down when you want to recline again.
- Use forward tilt (if your chair has it). Recline and lift the forward lever up. Then come as far forward as you can and lift the back lever up. The seat now tilts forward slightly for focused desk work. Push both levers down to recline freely again.
- Set the tilt tension. With both tilt levers down, turn the tension knob on the right-hand side until leaning back feels right. Turn it forward for more resistance, backward for less.
- Adjust the arms. Arms with a lever: release the lever at the back of each arm, raise or lower it, then lock it. Arms with a wheel lock: loosen the wheel, slide the arm, then tighten. Aim for elbows at about 90° with relaxed shoulders.
- Set your back support. Lumbar pad: slide it up or down until it meets the curve of your lower back, or flip it for the thicker or thinner side. PostureFit: sit back and turn the knob forward to add support at the base of your spine.
- Add the headrest (if you chose one). Move it up or down so it supports your neck when you lean back.
Keep it like new
- Vacuum the mesh or wipe it with a soft cloth, mild soap, and water. Skip harsh cleaners.
- Pull hair and lint out of the casters every few months so it keeps rolling smoothly.
